Feeling Under Appreciated

We've had a little bit of a warm spell lately that has uncovered some of Guillermo's long lost loves, er, toys.
(For those of you worried that we won't be making our record for snow fall, rest assured. It snowed on Easter and we are supposed to get 4-7 more centimetres tonight.)
The warm daytime sun has also uncovered some of Guillermo's brown remains, but we won't get into that!
At any rate, Guillermo loves his toys very much. They become his best friends and he seems to want them around all the time. I think mostly because he doesn't have to worry about them killing him . . . with love and they don't mind to spend endless hours with him while we are busy with the baby or boys.
Even still, I think Guillermo has reached his breaking point and is very upset with the lack of appreciation in this house. (Can you believe that we don't let him jump on the table to polish off our left overs?)
He runs outside and barks his head off and refuses to come in, regardless of what kind of yummy treat we wave in front of him.
So, in order to avoid calls from the neighbours, or having to resort to electric shock (just kidding, Pat), we are trying to be much more loving to our furry, loyal friend.
So far things are looking good.
We spend hours rubbing him, playing with him, and telling him what a good dog he is. But jumping on the table . . . that's still taboo! (Sorry, Guillermo!)
