One of the greatest attributes a parent can teach their child is self sufficiency. I just wish Jackson would slow down enough to let us teach him . . . instead of learning on his own all the time.
Today, while I left him for 5 minutes to get new dish towels from the dryer, he took it upon himself to get some juice from the fridge.
You should have seen the floor.
We keep telling each other that this is just a phase, but how long do "phases" really last? This one seems on track for another 16 years.
