A few months ago, Jayden came up to me and said, "We need more cheese."
I looked in the fridge and saw that we were pretty well stocked with medium cheddar, marble, mozzarella, and a four cheese Italian blend.
"We have plenty of cheese, Jay. Which one do you want?"
"No, mom. We have lots of love in our house so we need more cheese."
It took me a while to figure it out, but I soon realized he was repeating a commercial for cheese. The one where a young couple are enjoying their date with a plate of food smothered in cheese.
It says, "If you serve cheese, you'll have lots of love . And love leads to more people to love (panning to babies)" Eventually it pans to the same couple a few years later with a table full of kids and the parents serving lots of cheese. "And if you have a house full of love, you'll need more cheese."
This seemed to suggest that our house is full of love. That or maybe our little boy was watching too much TV . . . and since this was a commercial geared more for adults, maybe he was watching too much TV with mom or dad.
I forgot all about the conversation until I was walking to pick Jayden up from school a week ago and one of the other mothers saw me with my huge double stroller and commented, "Oh, how cute!"
Well, of course my kids are cute, but this lady had seen them twice a day, everyday for the whole school year. I decided they must be doing something that I couldn't see. So I peaked around the stroller and found this:

Maybe we do need more cheese.
