Antibes is a little fishing village outside of Cannes.
We passed through on the Thursday and thought it looked so cute and quaint that we'd stop in on Friday before we took off.
Quaint is was. An old village surrounded by a large stone wall with a fortress at one end. And inside the walls were little shops filled with artists' work and great little cafes serving yummy food.

We were lucky to arrive earlier on in the day when the market was still open. If anyone has been to a European market, they will tell you that is not to be missed. So much fresh produce and fun little gift ideas! Okay, well, mostly the food is what people go for. But the soaps were nice too!
