Picky, Picky

Okay, I will admit I am a picky eater.

I refuse to eat mushrooms, or blu cheese . . . or anything that has mold or bacteria on it. (In my defence, I am a microbiologist and seeing what mold and bacteria do--or even after smelling them in a lab for years--I can't really be blamed.)

I also feel it is my purpose in life to save most sea creatures, especially squids (calamari).

I don't eat olives, not normally. But everything else is pretty much worth a taste, even if it is little.

And cereal touched by milk, well that's just tasty!

But not to Jackson.

Even though he asked for Cornbran. With milk. He still fished out each square that touched milk because it was gross.

His pickiness transcends everything. We were in a restaurant the other day and he refused to drink his apple juice because there were ice cubes in it. I had to fish each one out, even the little slivers that had melted by the time I got to them.

We were eating pizza on yet another occassion and he found strings hanging off. (Cheese.) Nope, can't eat those either.

I made some healthy oatmeal for him, but it was yuky. So I made the sugary apple cinnamon variety. That smelled okay, but what were those little white pieces in it? Yuk! Can't eat apples.

What will he eat? Chips, drink boxes, popcorn, and bacon. Oh, and meatballs with rice. That is his diet.

Anything green that grows from the ground? Not a chance. The minute it starts coming close to his plate he starts to dry heave. If I do get it in his mouth it either comes right back out or sits there for the duration of dinner and then comes out all half-disolved.

I don't understand what happened to our little garborator!
