Beach Break, Barcelona

During our trip, we flew over to Barcelona to visit Mark and Tricia. They had a crazy schedule of sight-seeing planned out for us that kept us on the go, almost non-stop.

But, at the end of the second day there we managed to make it to the beach. It was one of the few times during our entire TEN DAY trip where the sun finally came out and it was warm enough for beach time. (Of course, after five days of cold and rain we gave up hope for beach time and had forgotten our suits at Mark's apartment.) The beach looked so nice, and the water so refreshing. Especially after a hot day walking all around Barcelona.

We did enjoy sitting on the rocks near the water though and just taking in the scenery. And I did at least put my feet in the cool water. It really felt great after all the walking we had been doing for the last five days.
Barcelona's water front. This is such an artsy city. Very cool for anyone into modern sculpture and architecture.

That is such a great picture of you and Brad and Avery, what a good looking family! It looks like you had an amazing trip. I'm glad you got to go.
